How Do I Know When It’s Time to Sell a Stock?
The decision whether to sell or hold a stock may be one of the most difficult decisions to make in investment. The decision is ultimately yours, and SprinkleBit is here with the tools to help you make it.
Here’s what you can do to decide whether you should sell or hold a stock in SprinkleBit.
Pay attention to the stock’s VPI
The 
VPI is a unique user-generated value prediction index showing the SprinkleBit community’s confidence in a stock’s performance.
- If the VPI is positive, it shows that the community believes that the stock will appreciate in value.
- If the VPI is negative, the community believes it will depreciate in value.
Pay attention to the stock’s VPI
- Tap on the highlighted stock symbol wherever you see it in the app to go the stock’s screen.
Check your Activity feed
- Tap Home to see what the people you follow are buying, selling, and thinking.
- Tap Trending to surf for the latest news and trades from the community.
- Tap News to get quick access to the latest news about the stock market.
Check the Discover tab
- See Trending Stocks to find stocks that were most discussed and traded in the past 24 hours.
- Scroll down to Gainers and Losers to see stocks with the largest percentage price change within the past 24 hours.
- Scroll down to Community Orders to see what stocks SprinkleBit users are buying, selling, and holding.
Copy other users’ trades with Alerts & ReTrade
- Set
Alerts for the traders you find interesting to get notified whenever they make a trade. To set an Alert, visit the user’s profile and tap Set Alert.
- Pair the Alerts with the
ReTrade feature to easily copy users’ trades whenever they make a move. All you need do to copy the trade is to tap the ReTrade button.
